Syracuse, N.Y. -- The Orangemen (1-0) opened this year's season Saturday afternoon with a win against Siena College (0-1) at the Carrier Dome. The team, which is ranked fourth, took control of the game early and defeated the Saints 21-7. Sophomore transfer Ben Williams nabbed 17 of 20 face-offs against Siena senior Casey Dowd.
Redshirt junior Dylan Donahue netted 4 goals, while redshirt senior Nicky Galasso added 3. Kevin Rice had two goals and four assists. 13 SU players scored.
