Albany at Syracuse Photos

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse men's lacrosse hosted Albany in the Carrier Dome Sunday night in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Great Danes, who lost to the Orange 16-7 earlier this season, showed up to prove they would not be run-over by the Orange again. In a tale of two halves, Albany took at 6-2 lead at halftime but it wouldn't last. Syracuse won the last two quarters, winning the third 5-1. The Orange got past the Great Danes, winning 11-9 and earning a trip to the quarterfinals against Maryland on Saturday, May 21. Here is a look at the game in pictures by Kerry Bretti.
