PHOTOS: #15 Notre Dame has no problem moving through the Orange zone

SOUTH BEND, IN -- The Irish came out fighting and ready to take on the Orange defense.

Notre Dame defeated Syracuse 84-66 on Saturday afternoon at the Joyce Center's Purcell Pavilion. In the first home game since the start of the semester, the students were excited to be back cheering for their team.

Both teams will play again on Tuesday. The Orange will host Wake Forest and the Irish will host #16 Virginia at 8 p.m.
