Making the Calls: A Day to Remember

(Syracuse) They came from all over the country this Wednesday to the Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium to take part in Making the Calls: The State of Diversity in Sports Media in 2014. It was the Newhouse Sports Media Center's major event for spring semester and drew representatives of ESPN, Fox Sports, Gannett, the Syracuse Post-Standard, The Tallahassee Democrat, CSN Sports Houston and more. Emanuel Adjekum, Howard Chen, Donna Ditota, Roy Hamilton, Chris Kluwe, Kathy Kudravi, Beth Long, Gerry Matalon, Don McPherson, Sinhue Mendoza, Jason Murray, Natalie Pierre, Neal Powless, Anish Shroff, Virgil Smith, Ron Thomas and Nick Wright.
