SYRACUSE -- The rain didn't stop the Syracuse Chiefs and Pawtucket Red Sox from facing off for a doubleheader on Tuesday night. The two teams started game one at 5:05 and played through the rain the best they could but they were eventually delayed. Fans stuck around through the rain for both games.
The Red Sox defeated the Chiefs two games in a row. 7-1 in the first and 6-3 in the second game.
Syracuse and Pawtucket will continue their series tomorrow night at NBT Bank Stadium at 6:35.
