It was the bottom of the 11th, the Syracuse Chiefs were 1 out away from blowing the chance to win the series against the Pawtucket Red Sox, runner at 3rd. The batter: 21-year old Dominican, Victor Robles.

Even though Robles had the best batting average of the entire roster, he had gone 1 for 5 during the game, and he had been injured (hyperextended left elbow) for most of the season. The youngster prove that the moment wasn't to big for him, he singled through left field and tied the game.

"I felt good. It felt good more than to help me, help the team and keeping our chances to win the game," Robles said after the game.

That hit extended the game one extra inning were Pedro Severino through a sacrifice fly was able to get the winning RBI in the bottom of the 12th. With that win the Chiefs won 3 out of 4 games in the series.

"We are improving, we are playing better as a team, everybody is contributing and helping in the way we can," Robles said. "When we play as a team it gives us a better chance to win, and at the end that's what you want."

Even though he is the youngest player in the team, and many experts claim he is the best. Robles says humility is an important part of being successful.

"My idol has always been David Ortiz, we don't play the same position but always admire him inside and outside the game how he has always been such a humble player, with all of his accomplishments," Robles said.
