Don't Forget the FCS

 By Corey Crisan

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Let me tell you all a little bit about FCS football.

You may have heard of this name: Carson Wentz. He was drafted number two overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2016. He went to North Dakota State University, where they won not one, not two, not three, but four National Championships from 2011 to 2015.

Also, Youngstown State University. Their current head coach is Bo Pelini, who had a very successful career at Nebraska. YSU, by the way... Derek Rivers, their defensive end stud just got drafted by the New England Patriots in the third round. They used their first pick on him.

Also, Super bowl champion Joe Flacco... University of Delaware. FCS pedigree, as well.

Look back at Youngstown State in the 1990s, a guy by the name of Jim Tressel, you might have heard of him, won four National Championships in the '90s before he spring-boarded his career at The Ohio State University, where he won a National Championship, as well.

Pedigree is there in the FBS, we all know that. But go look in the FCS, too. There's some studs there as well.
