Syracuse, NY -- The starting five for the Olympic USA basketball team for 2016 should be

Kyrie Irving, Jimmy Butler, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony and Demarcus Cousins.

Kyrie Irving because he is the best point guard on the team and he has the best handle and after winning the NBA championship he has proved that he is the best point guard in the league.

Jimmy Butler because he is the best two-way shooting guard. He defends very well and he can hit open jump shots. Klay Thompson is a very good three-point shooter but his defense lacks.

Kevin Durant because he is the second best player in the NBA and he led the last Olympic team in scoring. Also he is a factor In leadership. He can hit open jump shots, open three pointers, get to the rack, drive and do anything.

Carmelo Anthony because he is the leader of the team and this is his 4th Olympic games and he is the best post up player and best scorer.

Demarcus Cousins because he can play the post, he can pick and roll perfectly. He can run in transition and do whatever.
